Tuesday was a great day for Justin Hall, as Hall tossed a shutout to carry the Washington Wild Things (1-3) to a 10-0 victory over the Rockford Aviators (1-3) at Aviator Stadium.

The Washington Wild Things' Hall kept the Rockford Aviators off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on five hits while striking out six.

Six runs in the opening three innings allowed the Washington Wild Things to easily put away the Rockford Aviators. An RBI single by Rick Devereaux and a sacrifice fly by Shain Stoner during the first inning and an RBI single by Gus Benusa, , , , and a single by Stoner in the second inning helped the Washington Wild Things put some runs on the board early.

C.J. Beatty racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things.

Jordan Cudney ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in two innings, walked two and struck out one.
