The York Revolution survive the Lancaster Barnstormers rally, escape with 5-3 victory

The Lancaster Barnstormers (12-16) were unable to fight back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the York Revolution (16-13), and the Lancaster Barnstormers lost 5-3 to the York Revolution after falling behind by four runs in the seventh inning.

The Lancaster Barnstormers scored on a solo home run by Olmo Rosario in the eighth inning and an RBI single by Gustavo Molina in the ninth inning. Despite their efforts, the Lancaster Barnstormers couldn't get over the hump.

Salvador Paniagua paced the York Revolution at the plate. Paniagua went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning.

Chris Cody struck out nine, paving the way for a the York Revolution win. Cody allowed one earned run on six hits and two walks over seven innings.

Rosario rocked the York Revolution with two home runs. Rosario went 2-4 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Rosario homered in the first innings.

Brian Grening ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
