The Donkey Punch All Stars (19-10) jumped out to an early lead on the BALLS DEEP (18-10) and captured a 22-2 victory on Friday at Shorefront Park.

Twenty-two runs in the first three innings allowed the Donkey Punch All Stars to put the game away early.

An RBI single by Mike Romano, a two-run triple by Dave Lopez, a fielder's choice, and an RBI single by Mario Martins during the first inning and an RBI single by Mark, an RBI single by Greg Folden, an RBI double by Romano, a two-run single by Lopez, and a two-run double by Martins in the second inning helped the Donkey Punch All Stars put some runs on the board early.

Romano racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Donkey Punch All Stars.

Anthony Ambrazzo racked up two RBIs on one hit for the BALLS DEEP. He homered in the first inning.

John Hoagland got the win, running his season record to 7-2. He allowed two runs over three innings. Hoagland struck out none, walked one and gave up four hits.

Jamie Taylor (9-6) took the loss for the BALLS DEEP. He allowed 22 runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked eight and struck out none.

The Donkey Punch All Stars pounded the BALLS DEEP pitching, as eight hitters combined for 16 hits, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
