Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Monday as the Body Shot (14-11) outscored the Brown Tornadoes (12-13) 13-12.
The two teams combined for 54 hits in the game.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the ninth, with seven lead changes.
Greg Davidson got a hit in each of his five at bats. He tripled in the third inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the first, fifth, and ninth innings.
Greg Prush had two extra-base hits for the Brown Tornadoes. He doubled in the second inning, homered in the fourth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.
Howie Klein recorded his eighth win for the Body Shot even though he allowed 12 runs over nine innings. Klein struck out two, walked five and gave up 27 hits.
Robbie Schmalz ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed 13 runs in eight innings, walked three and struck out one.
