Wednesday was a great day for Jay Deabreau, as he hit two home runs to carry the HOT RODS (24-2) to a 28-13 victory over the Wicked Sticks (Spa Exoti (15-11) at Shorefront Park in seven innings.

Deabreau racked up seven RBIs on six hits for the HOT RODS. He tripled in the first inning, homered in the first and fourth innings, singled in the sixth inning, and doubled in the third and seventh innings.

James Happaney rocked the HOT RODS with two home runs. Happaney went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Happaney homered in the second and fourth innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 41 total runs and 48 hits during the game.

The HOT RODS ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The HOT RODS scored four runs in the final one innings to cap the blowout win. The HOT RODS scored 10 runs in the first on an RBI triple by Deabreau, an RBI double by Ryan Lynch, an RBI double by Joe Polese, a two-run double by Anthony Mitrani, a three-run home run by John Heinkele, and a two-run home run by Deabreau.

Even though Deabreau allowed 13 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his fifteenth of the season. Deabreau struck out none, walked three and gave up 16 hits.

Steve Chorzepa (4-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 28 runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out none.

The HOT RODS hammered the Wicked Sticks (Spa Exoti pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 29 hits, 25 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
