The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.
Anthony Mitrani racked up three RBIs on three hits for the HOT RODS. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings and homered in the sixth inning.
Even though Jay Deabreau allowed 10 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his fourteenth of the season. He struck out one, walked four and surrendered 17 hits.
Vinny Candurra ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 14 runs in six innings, walked four and struck out none.
