Kevin Korte clubbed two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Big Blue (20-8) to a win on Sunday, as the Big Blue fell to the Thunder (schaefer (23-5) 26-18 at Bellport two in seven innings.

Korte racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Big Blue. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the fourth and seventh innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 44 total runs and 52 hits during the game.

The Thunder (schaefer blew out the Big Blue thanks to 30 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Thunder (schaefer scored 11 runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Artie LaFranca, a two-run double by Joe Guido, an RBI double by Ed Schaefer, an RBI single by Tom Stanger, a home run by Shawn McDonnell, and a two-run double by Mitch Schloskberg.

The Thunder (schaefer were led by a flawless day at the dish by Schaefer, who went 5-5 against the Big Blue's pitching.

Guido got his eighth win for the Thunder (schaefer despite allowing 18 runs over seven innings. Guido struck out one, walked five and gave up 22 hits.

Christian Colantuoni (14-6) took the loss for the Big Blue. He allowed 26 runs in seven innings, walked six and struck out none.

The Thunder (schaefer pounded the Big Blue pitching, as 10 hitters combined for 27 hits, 26 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
