The Got Money one (16-11) trailed by six in the sixth, but Tony Lazaridis was able to capture the lead back with a double in the seventh, spurring the Got Money one to a 13-12 win in seven innings over the Reeses 1900 (22-4) at Granny Road on Friday.
With the Got Money one trailing by one, Lazaridis came to the plate and doubled, bringing home pat brown and Chris Zavesky.
Lazaridis racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Got Money one. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the fourth and seventh innings.
Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 25 runs and 38 hits, including zero extra base hits.
Willie Newham got on base three times in the game for the Reeses 1900. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the third inning.
Lazaridis got his third win for the Got Money one despite allowing 12 runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked eight and surrendered 19 hits.
Jeff O_apos;Shaunessy was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed 13 runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out one.
