David Imondi went 3-3 at the plate, helping the F U Maintenance (19-5) to a 6-1 victory over the Bad News Blackout (11-10) on Tuesday at Colonial Springs.
He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.The F U Maintenance relied on Mike McCaffrey to eat up innings en route to the win. McCaffrey allowed one earned run, eight hits and one walk while striking out one over seven innings of work.
Scott Merto couldn't get it done on the bump for the Bad News Blackout, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out none.
