Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Brown Tornadoes (12-12) and the scared hitless (4-20), as the two teams put up 18 runs combined in a 10-8 the Brown Tornadoes win.

The teams totaled 39 hits in the game.

Kelli Scott helped the Brown Tornadoes take the lead for good in the sixth inning. Jeff Polanish singled to start the sixth. He then went from first to second on a single by Jamie Falzone. Finally, Scott came to the plate with the score tied at six in the sixth inning, and, plating Polanish.

Paul Johnson racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Brown Tornadoes. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Robbie Schmalz got his second win for the Brown Tornadoes despite allowing eight runs over seven innings. Schmalz struck out one, walked none and gave up 20 hits.

Chris Arnold (0-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 10 runs in seven innings, walked four and struck out three.
