The Got The Runs (santo (17-9) didn't stand a chance on Sunday, as the THE MACHINE (16-10) captured a blowout 14-5 win in seven innings at Levitts.

The THE MACHINE scored six runs in the third on an RBI triple by Tim Ortiz, an RBI single by Sean Kiernan, a two-run single by Justin Mercurio, and a two-run double by Greg Konig.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to seven lead changes in the game.

Ortiz racked up five RBIs on three hits for the THE MACHINE.

It was a good day at the plate for the Got The Runs (santo's Fabian Gunderson. Gunderson went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Ortiz recorded his ninth win for the THE MACHINE even though he allowed five runs over seven innings. Ortiz struck out none, walked none and gave up 10 hits.

Mike Garcia was charged with his eighth loss of the year. He allowed 14 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out none.
