The Shake N Bake top the Megapowers behind Mitrani's 3 hits, 16-7

Story by Narrative Science.

Saturday was a great day for Anthony Mitrani, as he hit two home runs to carry the Shake N Bake (23-4) to a 16-7 victory over the Megapowers (16-11) at Nichols Rd. in seven innings.

Twelve runs in the first three innings helped the Shake N Bake blow out the Megapowers. An RBI single by Pat Dileo Sr. and a three-run home run by Jordan Davis during the first inning and an RBI single by John Walsh, a fielder's choice, and a three-run home run by A Rodriguez in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Shake N Bake.

Greg Folden racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Megapowers. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Dileo Sr. got the win for the Shake N Bake despite allowing seven runs over seven innings. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered 11 hits.

Mike Nizinski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed 16 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out one.

The Shake N Bake hammered the Megapowers pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 15 hits, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
