The Montgomery Biscuits (9-16) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-1 to the Cobra Kai (24-1) on Sunday.

The Cobra Kai relied on James Esposito to eat up innings en route to the win. Esposito allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk while striking out none over seven innings of work.

Chris Monohan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
