The STONED SOUP (18-8) failed to take advantage of Joe Puglese's effort at the plate on Sunday, losing 18-13 to the nemesis (12-14) in seven innings.

Puglese rocked the nemesis with two home runs. Puglese went 2-3 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Puglese homered in the fourth and seventh innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 31 total runs and 42 hits during the game.

Bob Nekola helped the nemesis take the lead for good in the sixth inning. With the score tied at six, Nekola came to the plate and homered.

The nemesis' Nekola was perfect at the dish, going 4-4. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the second, third, and sixth innings.

Bill Wamp racked up three RBIs on three hits for the nemesis. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Bob Nipper recorded his eighth win for the nemesis even though he allowed 13 runs over seven innings. Nipper struck out none, walked two and gave up 17 hits.

Dan Aliamo (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 18 runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out two.

The nemesis easily handled the STONED SOUP pitching as nine hitters combined for 22 hits, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
