A loss looked likely for the Men of Color (16-7) when they trailed by eight runs in the fifth inning, but the Men of Color were able to capture the lead back with a a two-run single by Tj Schroder in the seventh inning, spurring the Men of Color to a 15-14 win over the Legion of Doom (8-16) at Airport seven on Sunday.

With the Men of Color trailing by one, Schroder came to the plate and singled, bringing home Brian Crennan and Kyle Crennan.

Schroder racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Men of Color. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the third, fourth, and seventh innings.

The two teams combined for 29 runs and 49 hits, including zero extra base hits.

Crennan racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Men of Color. He homered in the third inning, singled in the first and sixth innings, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Pete Bratisax racked up seven RBIs on five hits for the Legion of Doom. He singled in the first, second, third, fourth, and sixth innings.

Dan Fay got his first win for the Men of Color despite allowing 14 runs over seven innings. Fay struck out two, walked four and gave up 23 hits.

Will Obrien was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 15 runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out one.
