The Rusty Nutz (1-23) didn't put up much of a fight on Wednesday, as the Road KIll (22-4) cruised to a blowout 16-4 win in five innings at Clarissa.

The Road KIll scored seven runs in the second on , an RBI single by Debbie Mc Sweeney, an RBI single by Rich Jensen, an RBI single by Casey Fontinell, a two-run single by Greg Echevarria, and an RBI single by Cindy Mc Sweeney.

Echevarria racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Road KIll.

The Rusty Nutz were led by Will A's hitting. A went 2-2 and drove in one. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the fourth inning.

Harry Jensen III got the win, running his season record to 9-0. Jensen III struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Ron D (0-9) took the loss for the Rusty Nutz. He allowed 16 runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out none.

The Road KIll hammered the Rusty Nutz pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 16 hits, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
