Willie Kuhl tossed eight scoreless innings to lift the Santa Barbara Foresters (4-0) to a 6-3 win over the Greeley Grays (3-1) at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with five lead changes.

The Santa Barbara Foresters took the lead in the fifth inning and held on for the victory. A sacrifice fly by Richard Sanguinetti scored Arby Fields and gave the Santa Barbara Foresters the lead for good.

Austin Davidson racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Santa Barbara Foresters. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

bo mclavey couldn't get it done on the mound for the Greeley Grays, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.
