The Evansville Otters seize victory thanks to late error, drop the Road Warriors 7-5

After five lead changes in Saturday's game at Bosse Field, the Evansville Otters (43-46) finally pulled out a 7-5 win over the Road Warriors (8-22).

The Evansville Otters took the lead in the fourth inning and held on for the victory. A two-run error scored Billy Killian and gave the Evansville Otters the lead for good.

The Evansville Otters' DeAngelo Mack was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He homered in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Patrick Crider looked sharp on the mound. Crider held the Road Warriors hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Mike Schwartz got on base two times in the game for the Road Warriors. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fifth inning.

Bryce Morrow recorded his eighth win for the Evansville Otters even though he allowed five runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Kevin McGovern (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
