The Beer Run (13-6) beat the Soccer Moms 11-3 in seven innings on Saturday at Tanglewood after a six-run explosion in the second inning.

Mike Podstuka racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Beer Run. He tripled in the second and sixth innings and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Nick Liotta recorded his first win of the year for the Beer Run. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Matt Galante couldn't get it done on the hill for the Soccer Moms (11-9), taking a loss. He allowed 11 runs in seven innings, walked five and struck out none.
