The Frozen Ropes (11-3) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Broderick Express (5-9), recording a 15-3 victory on Sunday at Brenton Woods.

The game was decided quickly as the Frozen Ropes exerted their will early with 13 runs in the first three innings.

A triple by Mike Lee and a solo home run by Pete Bregartner during the first inning and a fielder's choice, a single by Matt Jackson, an error, a single by Bregartner, a single by Greg Etimos, and a single by Greg Murphy in the second inning helped the Frozen Ropes put some runs on the board early.

Bregartner racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Frozen Ropes.

Rich Jensen recorded his eighth win of the year for the Frozen Ropes. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Andrew Cucciniello couldn't get it done on the bump for the Broderick Express, taking a loss. He allowed 15 runs in five innings, walked none and struck out none.
