The Men of Color (12-7) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the The Big Inning (4-15), recording an 18-6 victory on Sunday at Wave Ave.

With 13 runs in the first three innings, the Men of Color left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Steve Mas, an RBI single by Dan Fay, , an RBI single by Brian Crennan, and a three-run double by Tj Schroder during the second inning helped the Men of Color put some runs on the board early.

Crennan racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Men of Color.

Tom Hess racked up three RBIs on three hits for the The Big Inning. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Even though Danny Devita allowed six runs over six innings he still recorded the victory, his eighth of the season. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered 14 hits.

Henry Nunez was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed 18 runs in six innings, walked four and struck out none.

The Men of Color hammered the The Big Inning pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 19 hits, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
