A magnificent effort by Danny Walsh led the the commission (11-6) to a 15-5 win in seven innings over the The Big Inning (4-13) on Sunday at St. Joseph's.
Walsh racked up seven RBIs on five hits for the the commission. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings and homered in the second and sixth innings.
Nine runs in the opening three innings allowed the the commission to easily put away the The Big Inning. A single by Joe Mollay, an RBI double by Nick Dekranes, a two-run double by Ryan Alfredson, and a three-run home run by Walsh during the second inning supplied the early offense for the the commission.
The The Big Inning were led by Craig Medeck's hitting. Medeck went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Aj Russo got his third win for the the commission despite allowing five runs over seven innings. Russo struck out none, walked four and gave up 14 hits.
Mike KeiperJr ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 15 runs in six innings, walked two and struck out none.
The the commission easily handled the The Big Inning pitching as six hitters combined for 16 hits, 15 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
