Dan DeFalco hit two home runs to carry the The Iron Bulls (3-3) to a 14-10 win over the Bears Beats Battlestar (4-6) at East Islip #1 in seven innings.

DeFalco racked up seven RBIs on three hits for the The Iron Bulls. He homered in the first and second innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 24 runs and 25 hits, including zero extra base hits.

The The Iron Bulls came out swinging, scoring six runs in the first inning to jump ahead of the Bears Beats Battlestar early.

Homer Escobar did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Bears Beats Battlestar, reaching base four times. He scored four runs and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning and singled in the second and fourth innings.

Even though Justine Herbold allowed 10 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered 12 hits.
