Iggy Villalobos had two extra base hits as the Kitchener Panthers (8-8) took home an 8-5 victory over the Guelph Royals (10-10) at David E. Hastings Stadium on Tuesday.

Mike McGillivray got the win for the Kitchener Panthers thanks to eight strikeouts. McGillivray allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over seven innings.

Mark Allen had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Andrew Vant Wout couldn't get it done on the bump for the Guelph Royals, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.

The Kitchener Panthers' Villalobos, Mike Winter and Rick Murray combined for nine hits and four RBIs.
