The Mayhem (18-6) trailed by seven in the fourth, but PJ Haines was able to capture the lead back with a three-run blast in the fifth, spurring the Mayhem to a 13-9 win in six innings over the long island afterschock (18-4) at Heckscher St. Three on Wednesday.
With the Mayhem trailing by one in the fifth inning, Haines came to the plate and homered, plating Tyler Sullivan and Jim Rogers.
Haines racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Mayhem. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.
tyler reinig rocked the Mayhem with two home runs. Reinig went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and two runs scored. Reinig homered in the first and third innings.
Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 22 runs and 26 hits, including zero extra base hits.
