From 1999-2003, Fran Riordan played in the Frontier League, earning three Frontier League All Star Game invitations as a 1B. Since 2005, he has coached in the Frontier and Northern Leagues. In 2008, he was honored with Frontier League Mananger of the Year with the Kalamazoo Kings. Riordan will be entering his 4th season as the manager of the Florence Freedom, having led them to the playoffs the past two years.
