Cabral didn’t waste any time showing the Huskies he can be a go-to on the mound in his freshman campaign. Giving up just one earned run in his first three outings, Cabral has been a key part in Northeastern’s success this spring. His freshman season was highlighted by a complete game shutout vs Delaware where he struck out seven and only gave up four hits. Before Northeastern, he played four years at St. Marys in Lynn, MA. He was a two-time MVP and Boston Globe and Herald All-Scholastic team member. Cabral competed in the Futures Collegiate League in the summer of 2022.
