Ryan Madden enters his first season of professional baseball and first as a Grizzlie in 2019. He signed with Gateway on June 23 and debuted June 27 at River City.

Madden, 22, pitched four seasons at the University of Oklahoma before he finished his career this spring. As a senior, he appeared in 15 games in relief and posted a 1.69 ERA over 16 innings.

Madden was drafted out of high school by his home-state Colorado Rockies in the 35th round of the 2015 MLB Draft but elected not to sign.
