Jordan comes to the Beach Bums after three seasons in affiliated ball in the Milwaukee Brewers system. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 36th round of the 2015 MLB June Amateur Draft from Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers, FL, starting his career in the Arizona Rookie League. There, he had a 2-3 record with a 2.86 ERA, striking out 28 in 28 innings. In 2016, he split between Helena in the rookie-level Pioneer League, and Wisconsin, earning a 3-1 record with a 3.44 ERA, and was the starter for the Pioneer League in the All-Star Game against the Northwest League. Overall, in affiliated ball, he was 10-9 with a 4.15 ERA, with 167 strikeouts.
