The San Rafael Pacifics need walk-off single to beat the Maui Na Koa Ikaika, 5-4

A walk-off single from Johnny Woodard brought home the winning run for the San Rafael Pacifics (19-11) in a 5-4 victory over the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (14-16) at Albert Park on Sunday.

Woodard racked up two RBIs on two hits for the San Rafael Pacifics. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the ninth inning.

The San Rafael Pacifics scored three runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

Darrick Hale did his best to jumpstart the offense for the San Rafael Pacifics, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

The Maui Na Koa Ikaika couldn't get anything going as long as Julian Arballo was pitching. The Maui Na Koa Ikaika managed just one hit off of Arballo, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

David Jensen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
