The Alexandria Beetles (31-35) and the Rochester Honkers (26-40) volleyed the lead five times on Wednesday, but the Alexandria Beetles came out on top for a 8-5 win on Wednesday at Knute Nelson Memorial Park.

Ben Moore racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Alexandria Beetles. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Chad Wallach had two extra-base hits for the Rochester Honkers. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Alex Guilford got the win, running his season record to 6-2. Guilford struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Matt Kent was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out four.
