Millender's walk-off send the Rockland Boulders home winners, 4-3

A walk-off from Qualon Millender brought home the winning run for the Rockland Boulders (33-27) in a 4-3 victory over the Worcester Tornadoes at Provident Bank Park on Saturday.

Millender reached base two times. He also drove in one runner.

Ryan Scoma was hot from the plate for the Rockland Boulders. Scoma went 2-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Pat Moran allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Johnny Welch paced the Worcester Tornadoes (17-43) at the plate. Welch went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Adrian Martin got the win, running his season record to 5-3. Martin struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Matt McDonald couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Worcester Tornadoes, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed one run.
