An impressive effort by Chris Nowak hoisted the York Revolution (52-49) to a 9-1 win over the Somerset Patriots (50-53) on Tuesday at TD Bank Ballpark.
Nowak racked up seven RBIs on three hits for the York Revolution. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the fifth and eighth innings.
The biggest inning for the York Revolution was the fifth. In the inning the York Revolution scored five runs.
Ryan Feierabend's 10 strikeouts helped the York Revolution to the victory. Feierabend allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk over eight innings.
Sean Green couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Somerset Patriots, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out four.
