Derek Gardella knocked in three runs, sparking the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (9-41) to a 6-3 victory over the North Shore Navigators (31-20) on Wednesday at Fraser Field.

Michael McGinnis brought the heat against the North Shore Navigators during his outing. The North Shore Navigators managed just one hit off of the the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his seven innings of work.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs had no answer for Miles Landry, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Landry held the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Josh Desai (2-3) took the loss for the North Shore Navigators. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed one run.
