The Moose Jaw Miller Express (8-11) outlasted the Edmonton Prospects (5-12) on Monday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 9-6 win at Telus Field.

Scott Jones racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He singled in the fifth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Markus Fergusson had a hot bat for the Edmonton Prospects. Fergusson went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the seventh inning and singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

Michael Tittle got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed two runs over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Andrew Mirasty ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
