The Falmouth Commodores defeat the Hyannis Harbor Hawks after late game sacrifice fly, 6-5

The Falmouth Commodores (21-20) and the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (15-26) volleyed the lead four times on Saturday, but the Falmouth Commodores came out on top for a 6-5 win on Saturday at McKeon Park.

The Falmouth Commodores pulled out the win thanks to a strong eighth inning. A sacrifice fly by Coty Blanchard scored Michael ONeill and gave the Falmouth Commodores the lead for good.

Austin Anderson reached base three times in the game for the Falmouth Commodores. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the seventh inning.

Mitchell Garver racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Kyle Ruchim recorded his first win of the year for the Falmouth Commodores. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Eric Eck ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
