The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (5-6) were never able to get over the hump and get over their troubles against the Harwich Mariners (9-2) on Wednesday, as the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox fell 4-3 at Red Wilson Field after falling behind by three runs in the sixth inning.

The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox scored two runs in the seventh on a groundout by Tanner Mathis and an RBI single by Justin Shafer. Still, the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox couldn't draw even.

CK Irby racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Harwich Mariners. He homered in the fifth inning.
