Grant Fink came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as Fink reached on a in the one to lead the Bellingham Bells (31-20) to a 16-4 win over the Walla Walla Sweets (22-29) on Monday at Joe Martin Field.

An RBI single by Rouric Bridgewater, an RBI single by Kai Hatch, a groundout by Michael Leach, a two-run single by Jonny Locher, and an RBI single by Johnny Farrington during the first inning and an RBI single by Bridgewater, an RBI single by Hatch, and an RBI single by Leach in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Bellingham Bells.

Locher racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Bellingham Bells.

Adam Gunn struck out seven hitters en route to the the Bellingham Bells win. The Bellingham Bells' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Matt Imhof (0-5) took the loss for the Walla Walla Sweets. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked two and struck out none.

The Bellingham Bells easily handled the Walla Walla Sweets pitching as six hitters combined for 18 hits, 14 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
