Engel allows no runs to lead the Bellingham Bells past the Bend Elks 2-0

Davis Engel kept the Bend Elks (19-19) off the board during his six innings of work and the Bellingham Bells (24-15) beat the Bend Elks, 2-0.

Engel allowed four hits, no walks and struck out six.

Andrew Ely helped the Bellingham Bells take the lead for good in the sixth inning. With the game scoreless in the sixth inning Ely came to the plate and homered.

Ely paced the Bellingham Bells at the plate. Ely went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

JR Bunda (3-4) took the loss for the Bend Elks. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
