The Klamath Falls Gems (5-18) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-4 to the Wenatchee AppleSox (18-3) on Sunday.

A two-run single by Ty Moore gave the Wenatchee AppleSox the lead in the eighth inning.

Mitchell Gunsolus racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Wenatchee AppleSox. He singled in the fifth innings.

Bryce Jackson got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Jackson struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Dalton Douty was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
