The West Palm Beach Sharks fall 7-1 at the hands of the Palm Beach Xtreme

The West Palm Beach Sharks (9-16) had a tough outing on Monday, as the Palm Beach Xtreme (23-12) dominated in a 7-1 win at Spanish River High School.

The Palm Beach Xtreme scored three runs in the eighth on the Palm Beach Xtreme scored in the eighth on a solo home run by Brian Mayer, an RBI double by Conor Archer, and an RBI single by Carlos Leon.

Mayer led the Palm Beach Xtreme's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Christian Olmos was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed four runs.

The Palm Beach Xtreme pounded the West Palm Beach Sharks pitching, as six hitters combined for 11 hits, two RBIs and five runs scored.
