A walk-off single from Drew Greenwood brought home the winning run for the Glens Falls Dragons (14-18) in a 7-6 victory over the Albany Dutchmen (18-17) in 10 innings at East Field on Tuesday.
Greenwood was solid at the plate for the Glens Falls Dragons. Greenwood went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the tenth inning.
Nate Cardy racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Glens Falls Dragons. He doubled in the second and fifth innings.
John Bednarek had an impressive outing against the Albany Dutchmen's lineup. Bednarek held the Albany Dutchmen hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
Jeff Rivera (0-1) took the loss for the Albany Dutchmen. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
