A walk-off single from Mike Martinez brought home the winning run for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs (16-14) in an 11-10 victory over the Utica Blue Sox at Veterans Memorial Park on Friday.

Martinez racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs. He singled in the second, eighth, and ninth innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 21 total runs and 23 hits during the game. There were eight pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Jon Sell got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed four runs over one inning. Sell struck out none, walked two and gave up two hits.

Chad Burrows (4-2) took the loss for the Utica Blue Sox (23-11). He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
