An outstanding effort by David Johnson spurred the Roswell Invaders (34-14) to a 7-1 win over the Salina Stockade (21-26) on Friday at Joe Bauman Park.

Johnson picked up the win for the Roswell Invaders. Johnson allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out five over nine innings of work.

The Roswell Invaders blew out the Salina Stockade thanks to 16 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Roswell Invaders scored three runs in the first on the Roswell Invaders scored in the first on an RBI single by Bobby Webb and a two-run home run by Cody Coffman.

Kaohu Gasper racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Roswell Invaders. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

Dalton Bernardi was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked three and struck out three.
