Shane Bishop hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Bishop threw a shutout to carry the Concord Weavers (13-26) to a 5-0 victory over the Team Charlotte (7-33) at East Meck HS in seven innings.

Bishop's 10 strikeouts helped the Concord Weavers to the victory. The Concord Weavers' pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

The Concord Weavers scored four runs in the first inning to build an early lead. The Concord Weavers scored in the first on an RBI single by Aaron Nanney, an RBI single by Nanney, an RBI single by Nick Coble, an RBI single by Coble, and an RBI single by Chandler Jenkins.

Nanney led the Concord Weavers' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Nathan Hendley was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
