The Champion City Kings make the most of 6 hits in 5-4 victory over the Butler BlueSox

The Champion City Kings (3-6) and the Butler BlueSox (5-4) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Champion City Kings that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-4 win at Kelly Automotive Park.

Cale Dineen got on base three times in the game for the Champion City Kings. He singled in the fifth inning.

Ben Hughes pitched lights out for the Champion City Kings. The Butler BlueSox managed just one hit off of the the Champion City Kings' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Will Schneider had two extra-base hits for the Butler BlueSox. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the second and sixth innings.

Dillon Sunnafrank ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
