Zack Shannon drove in three runs as the Chillicothe Paints (16-14) took home a 6-1 victory over the Champion City Kings (9-20) in seven innings at Davidson Stadium on Wednesday.

Tanner Allison picked up the win for the Chillicothe Paints. Allison pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out four.

Evan Korson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked six, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
