McComb helps the Yorkton Cardinals down the Swift Current Indians 7-6

The Yorkton Cardinals (20-24) beat the Swift Current Indians (14-29) 7-6 on Saturday at Mitchell Field behind Kyle McComb, who went 3-3 at the plate.

He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Darren Kolk racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Swift Current Indians. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Bobby St Pierre had an impressive outing against the Yorkton Cardinals' lineup. The Yorkton Cardinals managed just two hits off of the the Swift Current Indians' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Rodney McKay recorded his third win of the year for the Yorkton Cardinals. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. McKay struck out three, walked four and gave up five hits.

Bryce Bush was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
