The Edmonton Prospects (9-8) jumped out to an early lead on the Melville Millionaires (4-14) and captured a 12-4 victory on Wednesday at The Ball Park at Rossdale.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Edmonton Prospects left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI double by Bryn Redhead, an error, a single by Alex Bishop, an RBI single by Logan Wedgewood, and a two-run single by Nick Spillman during the first inning supplied the early offense for the Edmonton Prospects.

Bishop racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Edmonton Prospects.

Noah Gapp recorded his first win of the year for the Edmonton Prospects. He allowed three runs over six innings. Gapp struck out four, walked three and gave up nine hits.

Dominick Dibella (1-2) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed 10 runs in three innings, walked five and struck out four.
