An impressive effort by Steven Borkowski led the Top Speed Baseball (29-5) to a 4-0 win over the Atwater Aviators on Sunday at Fireman's Memorial Ballpark.
Borkowski kept the Atwater Aviators (14-22) off the board during his eight innings of work. Borkowski allowed three hits, no walks and struck out seven.
Steven Knudson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
A bright spot for the Atwater Aviators in the defeat was Trevor Griffin, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.
Griffin (0-3) took the loss for the Atwater Aviators.
The Top Speed Baseball were sparked by Knudson and Matt Martinez, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
